I understand, I didn't mean to imply 2K was breaking any rules by going after retired players. I meant that for a company who will likely do whatever they can to get the NFL to go back to a multi-game licensing deal, how is making this game going to stand in the NFL's eyes? That promoting thing is great in theory, but having two NFL games would be a better way to promote the NFL and we know how the NFL thought about that.
