Using Sharkport version 2.03 or whatever it is. What is the correct order for when I insert discs and all that stuff?

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
First, you should have the PC software installed.
Then start the PC software up from your Start Menu.
Then connect the USB cable between the machines.
Then start up the PS2 with the Sharkport PS2 Boot Disk.

      Re: Need help...

I got the same message at first. I just bought an X-port, and I'm pretty computer illiterate, so I was kinda guessing my way through it. I had already installed the X-port, but hadn't installed the xlink, which I was prompted to do when I lugged the X-port cable into the USB port. So I unplugged the cable, plugged it back in, and a message came up that something new was detected, and there was the prompt to install the xlink in my driver file. I did that, re-tried sending the roster file, and it worked.

Don't know if I got lucky or if this helps, but that's what I did....

            questions for blacklover:

1.do you edit ratings of existing players in the game, or just the names?
2.how do you rate freshman and juco's?
3.where do you get you info to do this?
4.what do you mean by "equipment eidts"?

            thankx

just curious before i mail you $$$$$$$$

            <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I will do all of this for the next release which will be sometime next week.

I will be adding jucos and recruits this weekend.

I get my info out of all the annuals I buy and off the web. Plenty of good sites on the web.

As far as ratings go I keep everythin toned down and within EA's frame of reference.

Equipment is done through photos and then I take notes from any games I watch or tape throughout the season.

This is my 4th year of doing this so I got everything pretty much down by now!!!!

Nahh, it's such a blast to do that.

Makes the game really come alive.

Particularly if you "know" your team.

Puts a smile on my face after I get those changes in there.

Blacklover, I must say, you are the man!

Also, if anybody is still in need of a sharkport/x-port, Toys R Us has the Sharkport2 for 15 bucks. Pretty good deal if you ask me.
