I've been buying, um... a 'not-madden' football title for the last few years and I've stayed away from Madden. I have to admit, after some dashed expectations from Sega this year and some of the stuff I've seen from EA... I'm actually very interested in Madden 2004. Just had a few questions for anyone who can answer them...

1. How's the running game? Is there alot of 'Mario Running', can you actually run up the middle with some success? What turned me off from Madden way back when was that the running game stunk.

2. Can you save in the middle of a game? I have a job where I'm on-call and have to be up and out at a minutes notice. It sucks having to turn the game off at the beginning of the 3rd quarter without anything to show for it.
