Defensive Line of sight...

Had a game last night and my CB was on the outside of the reciever in man-man coverage running a corner pattern. Vick throws and the reciever grabs it, gets 2 YAC and my CB tackles him.

I fired up the replay to see my CB's (Bills-Winfield) head turned partially but not all the way back towards the QB so he doesnt see that Vick already launced the ball. Balls about half way to the reciever and he notices the reciever break and turns his head fully and spots the ball in the air. Winfield then alters his position on the reciever and goes for a swat.

Amazing thing is after I check his Line of sight from his angle on the QB/ball you could plainly see why he didnt make the cut with the reciever as Vick launched it. The CB line of sight to the ball from his angle lost him a step on the reciever and allowed the catch. Very cool.
