Well yes it will change the hot Zone of that Particilar player it will revert back to his EA default.
Pitchers it dont matter, but Hitters Yes, It wont have any effect on the game just that particilar Person you edit! You can edit all you want but once you do it defaults that person you edit back to EAs default Hot/Cold Zones! also if you go and try to change someones face I added you will never get that face back it wont let you it will only let you change to the default 12 and will lock you to the default 12! Do a couple tests to see try and change Matsuis or Bonds face you will see!
