MLB Power Pros Review (Wii)

We have just posted our MLB Power Pros review. Find out what Scott Burress had to say about it.
"I start seeing and hearing things about this game called MLB Power Pros. I think little of it as it is coming directly from 2K Sports and all I can think of is that it is another The Bigs type game. Nothing against The Bigs, it’s a great game; I just don’t think 2K needs to saturate the market with arcade baseball game after arcade baseball game. Fast forward a few months, and I finally see screenshots and videos of MLB Power Pros and basically laughed it off. Clearly 2K Sports was shooting for the kid’s market. It makes sense, releasing it only on the PS2 and Wii. Little did I know what this game really was."

Great review Scott, I'm glad to see this game starting to get the pub it deserves. It really does combine a great baseball sim and a load of fun...how can you go wrong with that.

WOW, 9/10....WOW. The game reminds me of a backyard baseball/baketball game for the kiddies so this score makes me say......, yeah u guessed it.

Dunno if it's fair to compare Success to Road to The Show. It is in that the progression is there - you build your attributes in similar ways. But most of the point gains in Success are done off thie field, and there's really not much on-field action - in RTTS EVERYTHING happens on the field, and you also have much more control of an RTTS player's ingame actions.

Other than that, great review. Hopefully this opens some people's eyes to what this game really is!

Very true, I meant it as it's a similar mode. To kind of give people a description.

Thanks!

The graphics and character models are kind of kiddie but the depth of the game is more grown up than MLB2k7 so it really comes down to what you like graphics or depth. Nice review..
