10 vs. 10 Online Confirmed for FIFA 09, What About Madden?

I think a 5 on 5 in Madden would work almost immediately. For them to do 11-on-11 they'd really have to recreate the blocker vs. defender system and make it something people would want to play.

As the game is now, I don't think a lot of folks would want to play on the offensive line. And special teams would be nothing more than trying to run into people.

Awesome! This makes FIFA 09 a must buy for me, although getting 20 online players to play their positions correctly is probably going to be like herding cats.

11 on 11 in Madden might be awesome or it might be sheer chaos.

I love that they want to expand to 10 vs 10, but I hope they add a few more features to the mode like the ability to kick people, a way to force start a game (instead of waiting for everyone to hit "Ready"), and just improve on some of the lag from button presses/movements, etc.

I tend to play with De Rossi online in Be a Pro. I prefer to be a setup man and defensive mid.

Awesome! I'm really looking forward to trying this out. I'm also glad they're not doing keepers this year. I liked it in NHL 08 but the 12 - 8 scoreline's got kind of old.
