Teamxbox has posted their preview of NBA 2K9.

	"One of the strongest aspects is that the game will track how you are as a teammate—not only your key offensive stats, but also how you help the other players on your team. All that will add to a “team rating” that you have, and having a good ranking will make you more desirable to other players. Conversely, if you’re a selfish player or make bad decisions, you aren’t going to help how you look to others, which may mean you’re going to have to spend some time building your stats back up to a more respectable level. NBA 2K9 is being designed for faster-paced action, but there’s also more risk in a crowd—it’s tougher to connect with a pass into the key to a teammate and, when you’re playing against the computer, the AI has been tuned to give you a tougher time."

I read this earlier in the day on the 2k forums, but they do give you some new things. Uploading directly to Youtube is a pretty cool idea.

All this stuff is nice, but I am actually concerned w/ the financial aspects of NBA 2k9 in the Association 2.0 mode. I'm praying (not literally) that they make that as true to life as possible like the ability to go over the luxury tax as long as team revenues allow it (ie. my C's) which in turn will allow us to keep emerging rookies on our team as there ratings and escalating asking price go up.

I know that the C's were willing to go into the $ for $ luxury tax threshold for the sake of winning a championship b/c they knew the added revenue would be there to cover it. I would LOVE for that type of dynamic to be in this game.
