Pasta Padre has posted MLB 09 The Show Community Preview Report #1.

"After about five hours with the game today and more than that to come tomorrow there will be plenty to discuss about MLB 09 The Show. I wanted to get some initial thoughts up now and follow that up with one that will probably be more extensive tomorrow night. First, there are some restrictions to what I am able to talk about. My take on it is he only scored on home runs. He had lots of hit variety but he couldn't string anything together because it of the tweaks, new game, etc.

Hopefully that is the case.

Hit variety is good. There is some long ball action but to me it seems tweakable. I would not say it was a red flag issue. The Cpu does a fantanstic job of stringing hits together.
