Looks great, hopeful to see this type of play in the game. A nice improvement over 2k9.

Just as long as its limited to star players and doesn't happen very often. Otherwise it'd be pretty non sim.

True, I hope we can turn of the can animation like we could in the PS2 game.

I'm also hoping the deking is more skill stick controled and less of the button combo dial a dekes they've had the last couple years. At any rate the game at least in that one shot models wise is looking better, heres to hoping it plays better than 2k9. Looking forward to the additional info Wensday.

That would be cool. You can deke side to side, so maybe they will add more.

Re: NHL 2K10 Hi Res Screenshot

From what I see it looks the overall player model has been considerably beefed up for this year and fleshed out with a lot more detail. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this early screenshot may signal that the game can hold its own with 10 graphically BUT don't hold me to that statement until better screens of the game in motion are released. This can only say so much but hey, it looks solid, can't complain.

I agree with Real, if they don't fix some of the faces it will not come close to EA's, but if they do and have more real players faces then EA's. Then this game can compete with EA's players in my opinion.

Terrific-looking screenshot. I honestly didn't think they would get the consumer memo (Do they ever?) to ditch the putrid goaltender player models from last year. But this gives me much hope and makes my Canadian hockey heart go pitty-pat!
