Thanks alot steve. And nice right up on things that can make madden better. But I think madden 10 is still going to be real good.

The feature that will push Madden into the future is the use of a REAL Physics Engine...

"Since the advent of “next-gen” Madden in late 2005, the new version of the game has been met with nearly universal disappointment"

You can`t be taken seriously when you begin an article like this, especially when you dont even bother to back it up. The game has been a critical (metacritic of 85), popular (see daily users online) *and* commercial (see NPD sales) success. Elitist pricks on forums will always complain that the game is sub-par. But hey, people love to think they game development better than game developpers, just like they think they know coaching better than the coaches, and team management better than the managers.

It's hard to innovate with a 12-month development cycle.

They need more time in the "lab".

BS and excuses

Like ive said plenty of times EA made HUGE steps forward w madden 10 only to take HUGE steps back as well

They implement cool new features like F4F and pro tak but take out stuff like playmaker, rp commit, lead blocking etc

WTF???

and there are plenty of features from the ps2 that i have no clue why they arent in madden now on...it makes no sense...if the ps2 hardward could support it so can the 3 and 360

no excuses

they bought out the NFL rights to be the sole developer of an NFL video game so they need to get the game right. there so much more they can do with the game. its been out 5 years, maybe the first yr they could get some slack, but improve every yr.....dont hault or digress

Youre joking right?! Ian Cummings had done a great job trying to get things back on track, but the Ortiz led team before him tried to strip the game down as much as possible....and see what people actually noticed was gone. No excuse for the absolute JOKE that was Madden 06 and 07 on ng....08 was a step forward but still pretty bad....and 09 was pretty good besides the RC and FB dive.

I realize the game has gotten OK reviews the past few years, but most of those scores come from casual players who dont appreciate the little things like the hardcore audience does.

Anyway, Im glad you guys like my article and more will come.
