Is the shooting improved? Can you actually put some force behind the ball now, or does everything float and still feel like it has no weight to it?

That was one of my biggest issues with the game and why I didn't buy it.

Someone over at the PESfan forums posted that Jon Murphy tweeted that the US PS3 update should be out in December (possibly late Dec). Can't view Twitter at work, so I can't confirm...

But wasn't it a much longer wait last year... like three months? On a related note, I caught something else over at PESfan. Apparently this update is version 1.02, while we (US PS3ers) are still on v1.00... so what are we missing from the first update?

I could of sworn US PS3 users got the update around the same time as the UK PS3 users. I thought the long wait for the patch was for PES 2010. The 1.01 update was:
