Check out the recently released NASCAR The Game 2011 box art. You should see the game on store shelves, March 29th.

Dang, oh well, we've waited 2 1/2 years for a new NASCAR game, what's 6 more weeks. I think the fact that Johnson in on the cover is worse that the delay though.

damn, the former release date would've been perfect for me, right when my holidays start. But it's worth the wait if the game gets better and has no major bugs.

I haven't had a NASCAR console game since the PS2 days. This one looks like a winner though. I'm not trolling here, but the best thing to ever happen to the NASCAR license was for EA to lose it. It was painfully obvious they didn't care about it at all. I'm definitely going to give this game a try. Also the graphics and front-end design choices look super sexy!

In the producer interview he says the game will be released in time for Daytona. Which is the correct date?

I know Amazon has their release date as March, but when someone called the customer rep at Amazon they were told that was because they had no pre-orders left for February. I am not sure how true that is, but if they are saying it will be out for Daytona that has to be February.

The date of March 29th was personally confirmed by Sandbox Marketing(marketing group for the game). I recieved a pm confiming that the delay is 100% accurate.
