I glad Ian mentioned Madden's current business structure compared to the one they had in 2004 as it pertains to the process before possible implementation.

I think oftentimes feedback towards the Dev Team doesn't include the chain of command a thought/suggestion must go through to make it in the game.

Madden and any sports game for that matter, will never generate the hours of actual online gameplay that shooters like COD etc... do. With that, Administration can limit the front line workers (Dev Team) because of the desire to push a game in the "Online" direction to get a piece of that pie. Thus, other area's or features not condusive towards achieving a greater piece of the "Online" pie become secondary.

I'm an offline player exclusively (more NCAA than Madden), and wish they would flesh out the Offline Mode to a mind blowing level. But I also understand no administrator would exclude themselves (game features) to one target group. They would be out of a job real quick.

I know some folks couldn't handle the truth concerning their desired feature inclusion, but a locked thread notating what "Is Not" going to be in the game (vision cone etc...) and/or suggestions that have been presented to Administration to include would go a long way and help stream feedback for better communication.

I'm actually going to give Madden a shot this year.
So I hope I'm not getting ready for a big let down!!!!

I remember that tournament.....Dedication right there. I wonder what ever happened to his friend that actual won it and got him the internship there in the 1st place. Basically made his career, I would be giving him free copies of Madden every year for the rest of his life LOL.

EA needs to learn how to design stat graphics for football. Why only 'COMP'? It should be either COMP% or COMP/ATT. And how do you not include INTS?

Amateur hour again at EA

He quit testing at the end of the summer and just went back to finish school at UT...I never really saw him or talked to him for years, and I just ran into him in a bar in Nashville last Christmas. He started his own real estate appraisal company and was doing well, but he couldn't believe it when I told him I was the lead designer now. I definitely paid for his bar tab.
