Re: Retail Version Video (off screen)

Can't comment so much on the looks, but wow Gameplay looks great. Can't wait to get my hands on this on Tuesday!

Re: Retail Version Video (off screen)

Also, according to the details, it's the PS3 version.

There are some funky edits (we see Wright step to the plate, the video cuts, and then he has a 2-0 count) but the video shows improved animation, decent hit variety and what appears to be a relatively smooth gameplay experience.

Tuesday can't get here soon enough.

Re: Retail Version Video (off screen)

Nitpicking, I know...but the runner on third base still leads off in fair territory. Same as last year. They should always be way off the line in foul territory.

I don't know why the little things bother me so much...but they do...for any game. I gotta get out of this mode!

I like that the play at 2:30 debunks the notion that the pitcher doesn't back-up plays.

Nothing wrong with attention to detail. I'm sure as 2K continues to iron out the fundamental game play, you'll begin to see the minuet details being addressed. At least V.C.s reputation would lead you to believe so.

Re: Retail Version Video (off screen)

The slowed down pitch speed brings back fond memories of High Heat.

I agree, more than a few elements of the gameplay remind me of the High Heat series! One of the main reasons I am buying!
