Sorry buddy, not trying to sharp shoot but that seems to be a common misconception, Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. As a matter of fact one of the Madden designers didn't have an immediate answer as to if the patch would affect current franchises. Which kinda of strikes me as odd, because that would seem like a pertinent piece of information that they would want the answer to before releasing it.

The most definitive answer I got on twitter was current franchises "SHOULD be fine, but still waiting on a firm response." So it SHOULD affect current franchises not 100% confirmed though.

This may be a dumb question, but we will have to restart offline franchises to have the changes take effect? Or will it be applied to already saved franchises?

Yeah I just assumed. I've never heard of a title update that didn't take affect with an existing franchise. But I guess there's a first for anything. We'll see for sure tomorrow! I sure as hell don't feel like starting my franchise over to play on half decent looking fields with no rain, but will do it if that's what it takes.

i have a question. will the patch fix the very dim stadium lights when you play clear sky night games at lincoln financial field and lucas oil stadium to name a few along with that the helmets looking very dull and no shine to the helmets in those games? if anybody knows what im talking about. and one more question, will the patch fix the progresive play clock and game clock, as you can only use the normal game play clock and game clock in regular games and not franchise games! for regular non franchise games its an option. if anybody knows what im talking about there as well. its just very anoying atleast to me!
