Re: UFC Undisputed 3 Inside The Octagon: Pride Mode

I must say it looks very easy to go to the back clinch in this game. Seems like you can pull it off with no resistance at all. Hopefully it isn't this way in the simulation mode.

Because if it is, then people going to spam the hell out of it, just to do face stomps and soccer kicks.

They had 20 months to work on this game. There should be no major issue with this game in my eyes.

Hey guy controlling Hendo...throw some more spinning back fists...it did look like Hendo either had new animation or custom animations to me. He was throwing punches I don't recall seeing.

Looks like that back clinch will be this years Machida trip takedown if there's no resistance to it.

I'm ready to see some simulation mode though. There better be some serious stamina drain.

Does anyone know if they've confirmed a fighter share type feature?

I must say it looked really good. Not perfect by any means but you can see the big difference light strikes interrupting heavy strikes make. Also love the speed of combos that flow good.

All in all I must say I am excited to get this in my hands.

The game looks like a lot of fun to me. I may change my tune when I finally have it in my hands, but I think I'm going to enjoy it.

That guy sounds awfully proud of his standup game for someone who is throwing a billion strikes and getting nailed with just as many. Doesn't anyone understand the concept of striking realistically? I'd like to see this "simulation mode" they've been mentioning for a while now...

Re: UFC Undisputed 3 Video - Pride Gameplay (Shogun vs. Hendo)

I know the goal of the video was to show off the whole Pride thing and soccer kicks etc., but the highlight to me was where they mention the next "simulation stamina settings" video. This video looks like there is no stamina at all being implemented.

Many say it looks robotic but I think some type of slowdown when a guy throws continuous punches would alleviate that robotic look. It's very pop, pop, pop without any slowdown, making it look almost choppy and lacking any natural feel.
