Yeah it came out NHL 11, 12 just added a whole lot more (Injuries, Offline mode where you could play other users team similar to your rank, few other things) I think Madden has something similar also.

I am super excited for this mode, and playing NHL Ultimate Team I wished it was in the Show (now it will be lol) just feel like they seriously trolled people for marketing purposes to an extent

Going on for months saying we cant reveal anything BUT they would say stuff like: "Never before done in a sports game online, will change the way we view sports gaming online" etc stuff like that.

If they would have just came out and announced it I would have felt pure excitement rather than disappointment from being promised something potentially amazing and never seen before....clearly its not.

Probably.

And while I agree w/ others that this is definitely not anything new, I will still be excited for it. I love baseball above and beyond all other sports, so I will probably use this game mode way more than I have in NHL or Madden.

I'm still curious how the trading aspect gets done. Do we have to deal with the same players? Or are all players generated?

In any case, certainly makes me more interested in playing online again! Good mode...

Heres the thing... dont want to start a feud but, the NHL series and even Madden are fluid online, The Show not soo much... due in large part to how critical timing is in baseball. Some people can get past the online hiccups I cant personally, but hey maybe MLB 12 will be smoothed out more, it does get better online every year but it just hasnt compared to how well it is offline, if it was seemless between the two than yeah this could be great.

Hmm...I'm going to wait until SCEA explains the mode a bit before I get too up or down about it. On the one hand, it sounds like it could be a good mode. On the other, I don't know how I feel about having a customizable team right in front of me if it's not useable in franchise mode. We'll see how it shakes out.
