I believe OKC will defeat San Antonio. and if not then Boston (assuming they get to the Finals) are fully capable of defeating San Antonio. Rondo would cause HUGE match up problems for Tony Parker....as will Russell Westbrook.

The real question should be: Are the Spurs going to lose a game at all?

That Kawhi Leonard and KD matchup should be nice to see from a defensive perspective.

We can score with anyone....and Parker is going to cause problems for any team left in the playoffs...so is our depth...

Defense is definitely a concern...were solid, disciplined....but we're not the '05 Spurs anymore...

One thing I do know is Pop will have us prepared for anything...and I know this team of vets know that this could be THE last push..

We're ready.

My gut tells me they don't get past OKC, but I've been wrong pretty much all playoffs long, so who knows. All I know is OKC has Kevin Durant, and that dude is a bad man. It's going to be a good series.

They'll have to get past KD35 to do so.

I keep hearing about these "HUGE" match-up issues that favor teams against San Antonio, but what about the fact that the Spurs are loaded and there isn't a defense in the NBA that matches up favorably with them? There are certainly more mismatches that favor the Spurs than work against them.

Of course Rondo and Russ would be huge problems--they are for everyone. TP dropped 42 & 9 and 25 & 7 the last two times he was matched up with Russ.

Re: Sound Off: Are the Spurs Destined to Win It All?

The best chance of the Spurs beating OKC is how well Leonard plays D on KD and how well the interior defense does against the penatration of Westbrook and Harden. And then now we look at the east. If the Pacers beat the Heat and the C's (Which i think will happen) The size of Roy Hibbert and the match-up problems that Barbosa George Granger and Hill possess can possibly triumph probably the best run organization in sports.
