I just hope the players aren't all loose and spastic looking like in Madden 13. Due to that it was probably the least realistic looking Madden game this gen.

I did like that warping was really toned down though.

I'm very skeptical but I will say this. At least they seem to be focussing on the right gameplay issues. I mean they can't make them worse.

Was the madden infinity engine as good as advertised? No. I know I wasn't the only one disappointed.

I am hoping that the emphasis on the "running" game is just a way for marketing to tout a much needed player movement fix for all players at all times, which I could understand. We will see when some video drops but at least we know that those teaser pics weren't EA Tiburon trying to poke bears with a stick, they actually worked on core areas, which is good to read.

I like the sound of "a new speed burst which will trigger automatically when you get into the open field", because I just posted the other day the speed burst needs to be mapped onto the stick, to prevent the User exploit of accelerating when switching to CPU controlled players that should already be hustling/running at top speed. Also there was a thread in the Madden forum recently about BCV for RBs and how it didn't matter because a User controlled runner could just hit any hole. This sounds like a way to make choosing a hole important because gamers can't just take fast runners and speed burst all over the backfield, I'm feeling that.

Now we need this upgraded physics and movement to effect receivers in the passing game, along with a true pass rush to force the QB to get the ball out, so passing won't be on offensive crutch. Here's to hopefully seeing some quality video later today.

EDIT- Wanted to add that the "Force Impact System" reminds me of the impact system in FIFA and it would be nice if that meant real time injuries in M25 too. Yes, I want ALL we can get in one year because it's "all" been too long coming, lol.

"Force Impact System" is Maddens "Free Run System" just marketed for NCAA but I can most certainly dig it. Pretty much means NCAA doesn't have to wait another year for it like they usually do with major features. All the information is looking pretty good so far which has me thinking the devs (Madden and NCAA) might be trying to transition from this console generation with a bang.
