especially when the mystery email is from someone that works on the new xbox telling others that work on it what it should do. makes all kinds of sense right??????

it was never confirmed to be always on... so "allowing" offline gaming has always been apart of it.

then why does MS need to tell themselves what the next XBox should or shouldn't be able to do? shouldn't they already know these things. This looks worse than the #DealWithIt guy. at least he stuck to his convictions. this looks like they changed their minds last min and are now having to tell their own employees about the changes.

I'm much more concerned about the rumored lack of backwords compatibility. If it plays only "720" (or whatever the hell they're going to call it) games then I'm not buying it.

dude it was never confirmed... period. We don't know when those emails we written. Until Microsoft announces the new xbox on the 21st, everything is pure rumor and nothing behind it

again then why does MS need to tell themselves what the next XBox should or shouldn't be able to do? shouldn't they already know these things.

Because it sounds more like a general e-mail to MS staff who do not work on the new XBOX yet are getting bombarded with questions just because they work for MS.
Just because you work for a company in one division does not mean you have knowledge about every other aspect of that company's business or products.
