I don't have a ps3 but what the article is making it seem like is if you buy the anniversary edition then you get access on your computer. So just hook up an hdmi to your TV and boom, NFL ticket for $99 and probably in way better quality then streaming online

I've been a DTV Sunday Ticket subscriber for like 9 or 10 years now. I see all these deals and just wait. About a month before the season I call them and tell them how long I've been a subscriber and what can they do since there are all sorts of deals for non-subscribers. So if I'm reading this right, I don't have DirectTV but if I preorder this, I can watch everything that would come with Sunday Ticket on my computer?

I normally watch all the games on some sort of stream regardless but sometimes quality is an issue. Getting that with Madden seems like a real win-win though.

RedZone channel is on for me from start to finish unless i'm getting the Pats game on in my area which is rare unless it's a Nationally Televised game or they're playing the Jets.

In the same boat and would love clarification on this. If we get Sunday ticket and madden for 99 bucks its a no brainer.

Upon reading the article further, it sure sounds like people who already subscribe to directv get nothing. Lame. Especially considering directv usually offers Sunday ticket free to new subscribers.

As noted upthread, a lot of people will just call up to "cancel" their directv service and let the CSR try to win them back. Usually sunday ticket will be heavily discounted as part of this deal if not given outright.

me being a bears fan and my pops being a packers fan we are from CT. so we have had direct tv sunday ticket for like at least 15 years straight. this is typical direct tv. the best deals are always ALWAYS for the non-subscribers. meanwhile their loyal customers get minimal deals if any year after year.

this is a great deal for those who don't have the ticket, which if you are a die hard football fan its a MUST have, IMO.
