As long as that stupid display is turned off I'm fine.

If someone buys madden, and doesn't understand how the read option works, it's just another testament on why madden is more arcade than sim.

I'll require it to be off.

"Tackled by DRC"

What's that? Never heard of it.

While playing Defensive End in High School, that is what my coach told me to do. It messes with the qb's mind and makes them think twice about pitching it. I would love to see this in madden (along with explosive blocks leaving a defender knocked down) but this type of stuff is frowned upon.

He's probably referring to Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (otherwise referred to as "Doesn't Really Care")

There better an option to set the DE or a LB to attack just the qb vs option plays.

if you've been around college football this article is pointless bcuz I know how to play option football and how to make proper reads. This would explain all the idiots on Madden 13 who run read option and continually keep it with their QB regardless of the read

The problem is that in reality, you know who the designed read on the play is, in Madden I don't always have that luxury because the CPU assigns the blocks and determines the reads by some logic I don't know.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a lot of what SF and Carolina do more of the inverted veer?
