Kobe signed for 2 more years and 48 mill. They cash strapped their team for an aged star. I don't see how max contract type of guys can go there? One could but certainly not two and Gasol would have to take a massive cut. To me the money doesn't work out and the windows closed till Gasol and Kobe are off the books.

Kobe didn't help them imo with that big contract. They might be able to sign another big star but won't be able to get any other help after that.

I don't think any big name free agent will come to L.A. to be in Kobe's shadow. Our best option now would be to let Kobe rest, offer Bledsoe the max and draft the best available player. And make sure we sign the best players off this years roster.

Well I got the answer to ''if Kobe would take a pay cut'' which I asked myself and others towards the end of last season.

Isiah T. at point would be nice,anyone else I'm going to have to think about it some more. I truly hope Kobe still takes some kind of pay cut during our recruiting phaze.
