I'm a huge career mode fan and this definitely has me pumped for this game. If all the components such as CPU generated fighter progression and longevity flow together smoothly, this will be a great career mode. This is under the assumption game play will be clean enough to keep me interested.

So this longevity means we will not be limited to 49 career fights? I'm in.

Have they said if you'll be able to create female fighters or use female fighters in the career mode?

Well, looks like I'll be playing exhibition fights or online only. Do not care at all for career mode.
