I love how he was asked will group celebrations be in nhl 15 and his response was yes there will be new individual celebrations. Key word being individual. Ugh I hope he misunderstood that question

I think you misread his answer.

He said "Yes! You will ALSO see new individual player celebrations."

People are always going to find a reason to complain. This game, from the limited amount I've seen, looks like a very nice upgrade from NHL 14. I'm excited to get my hands on it early with Season Ticket, and really get playing.

There hasn't been any new info on game modes yet. While I doubt (although do hope) they revamp BeAGM, there should be at least some info later into summer on what the improvements are.
