FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Carryover Details

EA Sports has released their FIFA 15 Ultimate Team carryover details, which is similar to last year.

FIFA 15 Ultimate Team will let fans maintain their current Seasons mode division and share their Ultimate Team roster, tournament trophies, in-game items, FIFA Points, and in-game currency between the Xbox 360® & Xbox One®, and between PlayStation®3 & PlayStation®4. All changes made in your FIFA 15 Ultimate Team will be reflected across Xbox 360® & Xbox One®, and between PlayStation®3 & PlayStation®4. Also, when fans play FIFA 15 for the first time they will be able to carryover their FIFA Points from FIFA 14 onto the new game via a one-time transfer. Please note that FIFA Ultimate Team coins cannot be transferred between FIFA 14 and FIFA 15.

So, FIFA Points -- which require a purchase -- can be transferred, but FUT coins -- which can be earned legitimately through gameplay -- cannot.

Who is buying 15 on last gen and upgrading to next gen at this point?

Since this is not a straight 14 to 15 transfer for current gen, this is going to get a lot people excited and then disappointed. Because they wont understand at first what the transfer is actually for.

EASFC XP and catalogue points do carry over, or at least it's been that way so far.

They better carry over, I haven't spent the summer playing the WC challenges and WC game to accumulate XP & FCC for nothing.
