If I were to nitpick I guess I could suggest making the transition from clip to clip varied. Some snapping in others fading. Adds some variety. Seemed pretty good to me though.

Yup, definitely going to work on that in the future. Thanks for the feedback.

I liked it. Well done for your first montage.

I'd like to see some of the on screen action sync up with the music though. For example, 2K's momentous trailer had a lot of good syncing.. Westbrooks celebration synced perfectly.

But keep it going man. Video editing is not easy

Darn good video, Steve. Makes me want to throw it in right now but I have adult responsibilities. Happy Hour

Rell7thirty beat me to the comment. Definitely synching some actions to the beat of the song could help. Not all of it 'cause it'll get boring but when you want to accentuate some actions, specially with a song that has such a notorious beat. For example around the 1:23 mark there are a couple of baskets that go in at the beat of the song.

Would also play around with some slow motion or ramping (think of 300, when the video would start in slow motion and ramp up in speed with some actions) at some points. Again just a couple so you don't burn out the effects.

Speaking of sound, you can play around fading in and out some crowd reactions on normal speed scenes. That way you can leave just the music along a slow mo close up play to make it feel more "important".

I agree with making the transitions more variated, just be careful not to over do it and end up with something that feels like a power point presentation where they used all the effects, lol.

Another thing that could help is to think about some sort of concept around what you are trying to do. I don't mean to necessarily tell a story with every video, but something to edit along and give meaning and coherence to the scenes. That will influence the type of music, sound fx and transitions u use.

All in all really good first effort. you have some really nice scenes to play around. I would say, play around with those again and see what else can you come up with, working with the same"raw" material. That's a good exercise.

Really looking forward to more of your work Steve and please forgive my bad English as it's not my primary language.
