FYI -We will be releasing a significant update in the very near future, for Perfect Golf. Improvements have been made to game physics, additional modes of play have been added, numerous bug fixes, and game enhancements. We will post a full fact sheet once the update is officially released -

Looking forward to the update!

Here's a screenshot I took at Willow Heath about an hour ago. Going for the green in two at the par 5 17th was almost a disaster.

Are you speaking of the changes that are in the 1.2.1.4b build? I'm a beta tester for PG, and I've been playing the this build since it was released to beta testers. It does have a lot going for it and it's got one surprise in it that I think a lot of folks are going to like. I know it's one I've been longing for since PGA Championship Golf 2000. I'd talk specifically about it here, but I'm not positive it's been cleared for public discussion yet. Anyway, there's some significant perks to 1.2.1.4b that make it the most notable update in PG's young life; however, PG will not have a chance at upstaging TGC, in my gaming world, until it gets a real time motion swing (preferably also a controller based one) that's tied to the golfer animation as the feedback mechanism. I know it's coming eventually, so I'm just biding my time, tolerating the 3-click swing in small doses in the meanwhile.

Correct Onlooker, the changes are coming. This is why early access is so important, and why customer support and feedback is even more important.
