Oh wow, didn't see that coming. On a Wednesday, no less.

Looking forward to impressions - I'm a little overloaded on racing games at the moment, but this one's been on the radar for some time.

Played it for an hour as it's still downloading but you can play one circuit. Like it so far.... Did notice slight tearing on the graphics (ps4). Rain looked good in car but not great on outside cameras as it's drops down the screen as if on the camera... Didn't like that. Off to bed now while it downloads will give it more of a shot before I go to work in 11 hours

Re: Project Cars Now Available

hooked up my wheel(Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback), ran a few practice laps in a Mustang at Watkins Glen(A track I know NR2003).
mostly just trying to get my wheel calibrated and setup.

so far, the visuals are awesome on PC, I have it on Ultra and the game runs smooth for me. can't really gauge the FPS yet, as in free practice it's just you.
the sounds seem really good as well. again, only ran some laps in the Mustang so far.

just trying to get a feel for the wheel and decide if I will keep going with it, or look into getting a new one. the beast is really old now(I think made for Windows 98), but still does great in the majority of games I have played.

Re: Project Cars Now Available

I'm waiting for the PS4 version. I've Been watching some streamers at twitch playing the game. I am thinking of getting a wheel, not to expensive though. If anyone has the thrustmaster T80 racing wheel how is it? Thanks.

Re: Project Cars Now Available

Played a couple 2 lap races with the karts, and they have been tough to keep on the track.

For those wondering, I live in NY so I'm going to explain how I got my copy early.

1. Create a UK PSN account. Email must be different from US PSN account. Also, make sure UK PSN is activated on your PS4.

2. Buy 45 pounds worth of PS wallet top up cards. I went to game.co.uk
US customers don't have to pay the VAT, so the total was around 57 US dollars.

3. Redeem top up cards on UK PSN account.
