Nyjah, Cole and Reynolds are only guys I'm familiar with.

Would be cool if some of those old guys were unlockable in the game. Park creator sounds cool but no mention of a create a skater function, which worries me. Think that would be a given at this point.

Yeah, I'm getting old.

Daewon Song, Arto Saari, Rodney Mullen, Danny Way, etc..

I understand why they wouldn't be in this game, though. I'd take a new Skate game over this right now, but I'll give this a look.

Possibly, heh. Skate 2 and Skate 3 had its quirks, but I don't think one can deny the "revolutionary" ideas that Skate brought into play for skateboarding video games in the trick department that only Thrasher: Skate & Destroy tried to do before it with buttons.

THPS is great, but it's an arcade skater all the way and you want to treat it as such. The first time I played that Skate demo (and I must have played it dozens of times), I felt the reward of landing that perfect grind after practicing over and over. They had something really right with the "simulation" aspect of skating.

While I always loved how THPS is an arcade game. Nothing like being in the same combo for like 5 minutes straight lol. I also never cared for skates controls and I thought the game didn't look that good and I like how with THPS the levels are based off real places.

disappointed that this will be on ps3 and xbox 360. sad to see those old consoles will still hold gaming back in 2015.

If there's no mention of a fourth Skate between now and when THPS5 releases, I'll give this a look.

Some of my favorite games growing up, all the way through Underground 2. But the gameplay is pretty aged, especially in comparison to the Skate series.

That's about where I stopped playing them if I remember correct.

I had Underground 2 on my Xbox. I went ham with my custom music in the background in that game.. just a lot of fun.

The game would suck because lack of resources, but a revival of Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX would be legit as well. Just thinking of the original gets Sublime stuck in my head.
