need to drop some of the animations now. I hate being force to walk the ball up the court when I'm trying to sprint. Like to see travels being called more often too. I spot the CPU traveling on so many plays and not getting called for it.

The later release is definitely a good thing. I hate having to wait a month for the first roster update. However I'll believe the other stuff when I see it.

Overall, I enjoy 2K15, despite it's many shortcomings.


But I'm really starting to fear that 2K may be getting EA Football Syndrome. Knowing you really have no competition, so you don't have to go all out every year.

2K does need competition. Me, personally, I would NOT need competition to inspire/motivate me to create the best product I can, but that isn't how the 2K's and the EA's work...sadly. I actually miss the older basketball games (not the old, old stuff) where the courts looked bigger, there was more of a visual difference in the physical makeup and sizes of the players, there was more of an arc on the shots from deep, you could break the backboard, etc. Nowadays it's just canned junk without the simulation.

Wasn't crazy about 2K15. I don't know maybe I'm losing interest in this series. I think this might be a first non buy for me since 06 unless 2K blows me away. Floaty passes, awful rim physics and ai teammate defense all need to be addressed. Plenty of ugly animations just like every year but I have hope with the new sim staff they have in place.

I'd rather them call the 3 seconds too!!...sometimes I go to the replays to count along with the shot clock how long they'll be In there for..lol my highest I believe was 6 or 7.

I am not really surprised by this. Every year they put more into the game and the game is never finished when they have to put the pin down to go press the discs. 2K15 had one of the latest in year patch release I can recall for a 2K basketball game. If the game comes out better less issues needed to be patched. I say go head and push the game back to the actual NBA season.

In the grand scheme of things, when looking at the time between now and October, putting the game out three weeks later than normal really isn't THAT much more time. They aren't doing this to squash bugs, they're just trying to take advantage of people excited about a new NBA season.

None of us work there but every year I hear the developers saying they need more time, more time and they are putting in crazy hours into game. I think they will take 3 more weeks if they could. A lot can change in 3 weeks of development cycle.
