Slightly Mad Studios will release their Project CARS Racing Icons car pack today, check out the trailer here. It costs $3.49 and is currently rolling out on Xbox One and later today on the PlayStation 4 when the PS Store updates.

The team also mentioned patch 1.4 is coming soon, but no details have been revealed.

Here is the list of cars.

Bentley Speed 8
Bentley Continental GT3
BMW V12 LMR
McLaren F1 GTR
Mercedes-Benz CLK LM

that is disappointing it costs money. The game only had like 60 cars to start with and less than a month after release you have to pay for 5 more, that probably should have been in the game.. That is disappointing...I hate the DLC era.

That is not the point. You paid $60 for the game less than a month ago. If this was 6 months down the road or there were already 100+ cars in then sure...

The DLC is $2.99 on Steam. I was happy to pay and download. It's a nice mix of cars. These cars seem to fit the game well, and will be great to race at LeMans. I hope they are able to provide cars from DTM, WTCC and V8 Supercars in the future.

They also announced Project Cars on demand. This will give us one free car per month if you're not into buying the car packs. read all about it.

This really frustrates me for some reason today. I'm so tired of grabbing a new game and then having them try and nickel and dime shortly after release.

Especially being a predominately single player only gamer I'm much better off now days waiting 3-4 months after release and paying less money and getting all the "extra" stuff as part of the bundle.

.70 a car is not good considering you just paid 59.99 plus tax a couple of weeks ago.
