Okay, they took the original link away now that they've published it on Twitter. Fixed the orginal post, see if it doesn't work for you now.

Question:

I saw in the Store on the Xbox One that EA Access goes for $29.99 for a yearly subscription and $4.99 for a monthly subscription. You cannot use your Microsoft account to pay for these. Rather, EA requires you to enter in your credit card number and informs you that the charge will also "automatically renew" indefinitely (unless you cancel, I guess).

There is an option to "Use a code", but apparently this is not one of the codes you can buy for the Xbox/Microsoft? Rather, from what I've seen, you have to go to Gamestop and buy an "EA Access code" from them at the register (apparently they only sell a yearly EA Access code), and then they will give you the code number. Can anyone confirm this? And, do you still need to enter in a credit card in if you buy one of these EA Access code's from GameStop?

I'm trying to avoid having to enter a credit card number for any of this stuff.

I wish I could help you, but I've never tried the code number purchase at Gamestop. I wasn't even aware there was a monthly EA Access option. I know one thing, I've gotten my $29.99 worth out of it every year for Vault and Early Access games.

Just an FYI for anyone interested: I was able to buy the yearly EA Access code at GameStop; enter it in when purchasing EA Access on the XboxOne; and no credit card was required.

IIRC, if you have pre-ordered from Xbox Live, I don't think you have to pre-download as it is already on your machine and ready to play using EA Access digitally. Hope that is correct as I have it already downloaded to my hard drive.....if not, hope someone can jump in to clarify.

Really wish this was on ps4. Really stupid Sony didn't think this program was a good value for their customers. We should've had the right to decide that.
