Madden NFL 17 Title Update 11 Available Now, Patch Notes Included

This patch only showed up as 84 MB for me on PS4. I had heard it was 7 GB or whatever?

Just from some reps in practice mode, QB accuracy appears to be untouched since the last patch. I can still miss an occasional non-lead short pass at user accuracy 30 with a 90+ SAC QB, and that's good enough for me.

I don't have time to actually play a full game right now. Others will get to those impressions before I do.

Training slowdown is indeed fixed (as well as the Skills Trainer/Gauntlet which suffered the same issue)

Honestly Madden is in a very good place right now...I'm having a blast before and after the latest patch.........

My last game went in OT with the final score 16-13 I lost but it felt great!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure they said on Twitter no more gameplay patches this year, so I doubt this patch did anything gameplay-wise. I think it was mostly just to quickly fix the LT ghost blocking, fix auto-flip settings, and slow framerate in practice/guantlet mode.

So all you Madden gamers out there, whom had their personal sliders fine tuned, can probably breath easy.

Thanks for posting. Great that ghost block is fixed. We can only hope that this fix doesn't "un-fix" the blocking improvements that the previous patch did.

OK, folks can take it or leave it, but I play so much Madden that I tend to notice things pretty quickly.

Positive: CPU punting ability is now better. I had been seeing lots of shanked punts, really short punts, and punts that got boomed out of the end zone instead of dropped in more accurately. The result was easily 50 YDS in field position for me over the course of a game. In two CFM games post-patch, the CPU punters seem much more intelligent and much better able to play the field position battle.

Positive: HUM and CPU completion percentages were in the 50s for the first time in a very, very long time in my CLE vs. TEN game. Kessler missed several throws (53%, 5.1 YPA) and Mariota missed several too (58%, 4.8 YPA). Mariota appeared to be confused by several blitzes and either a) checked down early for a loss or short gain, or b) misfired due to confusion and pressure.

I'm extremely happy about the punting. The bad special teams play had been generating too many CFM wins for me by creating short field scoring opportunities where they never should have existed.

I'm a happy camper.

So that's what that was that got me sacked on 3rd and goal..I watched the replay, and I figured it was typical AI mess up....So it actually was a new glitch...At least it's fixed now...
