MLB The Show 17 Patch 1.05 Available Now, Patch Notes Included

So I just hopped on this morning to play some BR after this latest patch a few hours ago. Everything was actually very smooth and no freezing. I was up 4-0 in the top of the 3rd and my last batter struck out to end the inning. And then it went straight to the post game and the guy I was playing never got to bat in the bottom of the 3rd. I messaged him to make sure he didnt quit or something and I just missed it but he confirmed that it just skipped straight to the end game screen.

Sp problem still not fixed leading 3-0 CPU pulls pitcher in the 5th with 70 pitchers I give up never getting fixed it's not a quick counts issue I play full

One game in with qc, cpu pitcher went six full, felt like the right time to to pull him as the pitch count was high and he had given up two earned. Had never had the CPU pitcher even start the 6th for me before. Bullpen management for the one game seemed solid as well. Didn't see any pitcher get left out there too long. One game sample is obviously very small, but felt much better.

I guess bunting against the shift was so bad, they decided to fix it twice. Lol! Great patch. Love how these guys listen to our feedback to make the game better. (See how that works, FIFA?)

I can handle 6 full IP. That is the usual norm now these days IRL. When I tried a couple games doing full counts the pitchers seemed to go 6 IP or maybe a little more depending on situation.

Called into work and going to be playing a lot today lol. Started first game up now in my Indians franchise. Using QC with my current sliders. Fingers crossed!

I've already issued one walk, and drawn two walks in two innings thanks to some 3-2 starting counts!

I played a quick game this morning with QC. It was just one game. That being said - the opposing team was down 4-2 after 4 innings and the starting pitcher had already thrown 70 pitches. Pre-patch - the starting pitcher never sees the 5th inning. Today - he pitched the entire 5th inning. Small sample size absolutely but this pleased me greatly.

Man, that was a quick turnaround for this patch.

Are sac bunts fixed? As in, can you actually lay down a sacrifice bunt now without it rocketing it to the first or third baseman? That's my only issue with the game.

Loving this patch.

The hit variety since 1.04 is fantastic. Seeing all sorts of variety: doubles off the wall, bloopers, slicing line drives, etc.

Now that the sound issue is fixed, it's even more enjoyable.

I am looking forward to this is well. I was really surprised the first time I hit an off the wall double, I am so use to either its a home run or in the gap double. this game is def. enjoyable. I am looking forward to the bat sound adjustments as well.

I too would like to see if this means no more rocket bunts. It takes away a significant part of the game, especially for national league players such as myself.

Oh sweet leave us who play full games without quick counts on the dust...sick of my pitcher or cpu being pulled with 70-90 pitches with a lead. Even happened with a hitless gane going into the 7th and they fckn pull my created pitcher. Wow

First game with QC on. I'm losing 7-0 against Seattle. Their SP is through 5 with 80 pitches. Top of the 6th and I see no one warming up for them so that is a good sign they are going to allow him to pitch the 6th at least.

I did get a base hit in the 5th as well and they left him in. Maybe if the score was closer...Bauer had a very rough afternoon 😢😢

2-2 in the 5th Cashner goes 5, Fiers 6.1
1-0 in the 6th Keuchel goes 6.2, Shoemaker 6
0-0 in the 6th, Nova goes 7, Arroyo 7.1
2-0 in the 6th, Tallion goes 6, Adleman 6.1
4-3 in the 5th Chatwood goes 7, Cahill 5
0-0 in the 5th Walker goes 7, Anderson 6
0-0 in the 6th Wojciechowski goes 8, Bundy 6.1
2-0 in the 6th Ganaka goes 9, Arroyo 6

Those look much better to me.

Wow amazing turnaround just when I have to go out of town for a week....!

Any update to catcher with breaking balls in dirt? Only thing I didn't see or possibly looked over myself.

During my Franchise, it will show the NL East, Central or West Standings, but displays the AL East teams. Does anyone know if this patch fixed issue?
