Great question. Kind of makes you wonder how far in depth these testing teams go before these games go gold.

As I told Shawn, if they were going to screw something like this up,the least they could've done was had Jim Kelly in as one of the hall of famers, that way I could've signed him to my Bills! :y4:

Or the other question, what if this isn't a slip and the intended way, or the testers weren't told either way, and just assumed it was right. Programming to QA has some weird fine lines.

I don't mind the HoFs being available - I play sim like game but kinda like having the other players available. I don't like how they just seem to multiply based of simple game 'achievements.'
What type of salary does it take to sign these guys - is is a cap killer?

That's too bad ... I wonder how high up the priority list "Franchise Mode" was for the QA team? Assuming the QA team are all NFL fanatics (or at least knowledgable), you'd think that it might strike them as odd when they face Terry Bradshaw playing QB for the Browns in week 3 of a franchise.

I still think the gameplay improvements and new features warrant the purchase, but there certainly needs to be a workaround made available or a patch via XBL immediately upon release.
