Any franchise mode glitches reported?

22’s “passing yard” stat glitch ruined the game for me and I stopped playing, by the time they fixed it I was too immersed in 2K22 to go back to Madden.

Any similar glitches reported currently with 23?

No QB injuries of any kind anywhere.

They just can’t get the simple stuff right can they. I guess at least it’s better than the stat glitch from last year which was truly game breaking.

They fixed all the draft glitches I saw reported during the beta. Only problem is there are hella big name free agents. They said that should change as they update the real life contracts and extensions.

Mock drafts can be weird. They are projecting a dude with 4th round talent to go to me in round 1. They're also projecting 2 FS to go to me in round 1 lol (I have two picks).

Also, the game rearranges parts your depth chart randomly. It has happened 2-3 times during my first season and it's pretty frustrating.

In general though, I'm not seeing any mode-breaking bugs or anything that would cause someone to wait to start a franchise. That's not something that can be said most years so i think it's in a good spot.

The 5-6+ year offline Franchise save corruption bug is still there as it was in M22 and I've heard M21. I don't know if it also affects online franchise but it's really seems to be an issue with offline one an totally kills any long term franchises.

My own little test of the problem was pretty barebones and it still resulted in a corruption file. I used base roster, no draft classes. I simmed like 2 seasons and then 10 year simmed until 2034. Played a 1 minute quarter SB and the game crashed after it and wouldn't let me load the auto-save file or the main file. It's just such a crazy mode killing bug.

I'm not sure if it's by design because weather is pretty unpredictable, but I keep getting the heavy rain notification in the franchise menu but zero rain during the game, only the inclement weather kicking meter.

Insanely frustrating that we can't choose the weather. I've got one sunny game all season and the game looks way better when it's sunny. The cloudy games just don't look as good.

I remember the mock draft bug in 22, after the scouting update. I think it either had something to do with your big board, or maybe if your GM recommended a player. It was always just the user team.

I've also seen the depth chart resetting, but only saw it occurring with people who sim ahead multiple weeks at a time. I'm wondering if it's occurring because of injury, and then the chart resets at the position of the player returning from injury, like in year's past; or if it could be something tied to player tags that causes the cpu to "revaluate" the depth chart as the overall of those tagged players improves?

The depth chart thing drives me crazy as I like it a certain way. In my testing here’s what I saw.

For me, Injuries didn’t seem to cause a full reorder either getting injured or returning.

I cut or traded several players of varying depth chart status and no reorder outside of that position so that was normal. However, any player signed or traded for that auto went into a depth chart slot forced a complete reorder. So removing was ok but adding FA or traded player did full reorder.

I also found out why sometimes when I would progress a week it was reordering without me doing anything. Stupid setting for cpu fill out rosters was on (everything else manual) and so when a player got injured and week finished the cpu was signing a replacement player in my case. Thus forcing an auto reorder. I could see it in the transaction log then verify it in my depth chart. Once I switched that to manual and starters got injured there was no auto reorder because no one got signed.

I moved players around on my roster by editing them and no full reorder.

It’s annoying for sure.

The bugs still there that if a player is injured they can get reinjured during weekly training and it wipes out the previous injury.

This isn’t true. I was playing the Bucs and knocked Brady out for the game with a chest injury on the 3rd play. Trask played the whole game.

Oh nice. Still needs to be addressed by EA.

They happen but are so dang rare that you almost never need to worry about having a decent backup. Drives me nuts. My supersim method works for cpu qb injuries but since I play my games out I almost never see my qb getting hurt.
