Jeffruel's 2k23 Fictional Draft Classes

Hey guys. I'm back again for 2k23. I'll update this forum as updates come. This year I'm pumped to let you guys know that I've partnered with a couple people to help make the classes more immersive.

First is marshdaddy, who has written in season writeups for me. If you follow his Warriors thread on the basketball dynasties forum, you know how big of a deal this is. I gave him creative liberties to write whatever he wants and he has me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next writeup.

Next is JoshNormanMane. He is working with me to add a bit more to the scouting reports. He has come up with 3-4 stories leading up to the draft and I have to say he's done an awesome job. He recently just started his own thread on the basketball dynasty forum as well, Detroit vs Everybody, so go check his out too.

Each class will have stars, busts, role players, etc. and thanks to the boom or bust function, every MyLeague will be different. There are some guys I have designed as a bust (100% bust rate), or sleepers (100% boom rate), but then there are guys who I truly leave it up to chance (50% boom, 50% bust).

Please let me know how you think the classes are or if you have any questions at all. I am open to all criticism because I am just trying to make the game more enjoyable for everyone else. Let me know if I need to tweak anything at all or if you found something weird. Lastly, I would love to hear about how these guys are doing in your MyLeague, so once you use them, let me know!

Finally, and one of the most important things. Make sure you take control of all 30 teams after the draft and sign all the 2nd round picks. The computer never signs 2nd round picks. If you do not do this, it will never give the sleepers time to develop. It is also not realistic.

Great to see you and JB are back for another season !
I'm playing in MyNBA Eras, but I will include your players during the course of my seasons. Probably replace some of the autogenerated players in the historical draft classes with players from your DC by importing their DNA. It will be fun to see them go against legends.

Last year I really liked J'wann Denmon, Dru Tsakalidis & JT Chase.

I got excited about moving a team to KC in the early 90's and I think I'll be diving into the eras as well. I think my plan is loosely play a few games a season and shape the NBA how I want, and then start importing my classes in 2010 and see if I can build another set of splash brothers that doesn't involve Klay Thompson with Golden State, while building my Kansas City Team
