22 on ps4

So I haven’t bit the bullet on getting a ps5 and probably won’t for a long time, but I seen the the show 22 is on sale right now and was wondering how it played and if it was worth getting it. Also are there any new features from the season before.

There are changes, most noticeable is the changes to presentation and the new commentary team. Presentation is nice, but the commentary gets repetitive rather quickly given you are talking a few years of lines being recorded versus that of 10+ years.

Gameplay is better, but not by leaps and bounds. The defense took another step forward with now being able to make perfect throws to any base, there are new animations, and diving for balls both in the infield and outfield have been tweaked for the better.

Franchise mode got a few updates but nothing earth shattering and still fairly stagnant. The biggest for me that was an annoyance prior is the AI is better at keeping its prospects versus just trading them away. They still do, but its better than previous years.

Glad to know. I held out and still play 20. I'll probably get 23 next year on PS4.
