After a couple hours with it last night, I'm extremely impressed. The UI feels and looks very close to the other Monster games (Nascar Heat series, Tony Stewart Racing games). But the physics is light years better than Tony Stewart Sprint Car Racing, which I gave up on pretty quickly. I never drove the wing sprints on iRacing with a controller, always used wheel but it feels very similar. Had to bump steering assist to low to even be able to make laps in the 410.

A few things missing: AI drives the car under caution which is completely un-iRacing like. LOL No tear offs, can't adjust top wing mid race, can't destroy the car (it'll damage the car but can still finish every race), can actually enter pits, the "pits" during practice is the very bottom of the track like every other Monster racing game. And I'm sure the online will be a complete crap show as most racing games are.

But for $50 for the Standard Edition, I'd highly recommend it if you are a dirt racing fan. First decent dirt racing sprint car game we've had in multiple decades. Would love to see a non-win 305 or 360 added but doubt they will.

This game is fantastic. Total Ratbag vibes, playing WoO 2002 on the PS2.

WoO Dirt Racing takes everything good in Tony Stewart's Sprint Car Racing and improves it while fixing some of the flaws of Smoke's game.

Still lurk, and yes really great game. Has a few issues, but probably more intentional than actual issues. Having a lot of fun with it. Plus its pulling in massive view counts.
