Madden NFL 23 Patch #3 Available – Patch Notes

Madden NFL 23 patch #3 is available today featuring updates and improvements to Franchise mode, MUT, gameplay, authenticity and player likeness. We've posted the patch notes.

While the community sees improvements with interception frequency, thanks to a slider that finally works, Franchise Mode users aren't feeling the same love as the draft glitch still hasn't been fixed.

This was not mentioned either way. The title update portion of the stream was very brief.

Historically with Madden, the only updates to Franchise which required a restart have been ones which explicitly add new functionality; for example, the Scouting update in Madden 22, or the Offensive Line Superstar Abilities update in Madden 20.

I would anticipate that tomorrow's update will not require a restart, but do not take that as gospel. We will need to wait until tomorrow to confirm.

the only detailed “preview” notes they mentioned were:

1. franchise disconnect issue
2. issue with defenders not using swat when instructed to do so
3. 2nd level defenders not using QB contain

Give them credit. Thet said mid October. I wonder if the swat fix is for the interception issue.

Appreciate the post. I’ll get to start my new franchise tomorrow then instead of next week. Hopefully fixes some stuff and as equally important, doesn’t break anything else.
