In the past year I have gotten back into NCAA 14 playing with Revamped. Using awesome tools like the Dynasty Editor and Recruit Generator has given Dynasty a shot of life. But there's one thing that's always bothered me with this game -- the at times atrocious and completely unrealistic poll logic. After figuring out how to manually edit these via a DB Editor and the new Dynasty Tool, it's been a relief to me to see realistic rankings for the first time.
This process started taking up more time than it was worth when playing my dynasties. I was spending too much time looking at resumes, ranking teams, and implementing my changes. So I set out to automate it. I looked at all of the college football playoff polls that have been released and backtested them against some key metrics to try to create a model to mimic the committee -- and I finally have a product I believe I can share.
This tool REQUIRES the ability to modify your dynasty. I cannot help you with your questions involving decryption of console dynasties or using Bruteforce, Modio, or Horizon. If you are having difficulty loading your dynasty file, there are plenty of guides and videos to help you get started.
This tool is also not completely automated, so it is not quite as simple as plugging and playing. There is a bit of ground work associated. I have done my best to make it as simple as possible, with easy, step-by-step instructions. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR DYNASTY BEFORE USING THIS FILE. There's not a ton of manipulation going on, but the file is mostly held together by ... less than stable means.
NOTE:
REQUIRED: Madden Xtreme DB Editor - super simple to edit / upload files
DO NOT USE THESE RANKINGS UNTIL WEEK 10. These are meant to mimic the CFP Rankings and will not give you good results before then. Each time you advance the week from Week 10 until Bowl Season, follow these steps before playing any games to get accurate rankings

INSTRUCTIONS: This may seem intimidating at first, but it is super easy to do once you get the hang of it. It takes me less than 5 minutes total to complete the process.
1. If this is your first time using the rankings, make a copy of this sheet (File > Make a copy)
2. Open your dynasty file in the Madden Xtreme DB Editor
3. Right click on the following tabs in the DB Editor and export
- TEAM
- SCHD
4. Fully close the Madden Xtreme DB Editor (for some reason this is very important)
5. Click on the "TEAM Import" tab on this sheet. Import your TEAM.csv file (File > Import > Upload). IMPORTANT: Select "Replace Current Sheet" on import.
6. Click on the "SCHD Import" tab on this sheet. Import your SCHD.csv file using (File > Import). IMPORTANT: Select "Replace Current Sheet" on import.
7. You will see a progress bar on the top right as everything process. Wait for that to finish. After it does, you can view the rankings in the CFP Rankings tab.
8. Click on the "TEAM" tab on this sheet. Export this tab (File > Download > Comma-seperated values (.csv))
9. Re-open your dynasty file in the Madden Xtreme DB Editor
10. Right click on the "TEAM" tab in the DB Editor. Select "Import". Import your downloaded .csv file. Save your dynasty file. After saving your dynasty back to your PC / Console / wherever, you should see the updated rankings.
