What Teams gave you trouble in different eras?

So respectfully this is not about which era is better or comparing
This is about what teams&players give you trouble to beat them....

Mine in the Jordan era is 76ers&Cavs
And Mitch Richmond give me fits whenever I play the kings

I see why the Cavs give the bulls a challenge they were like one superstar away from being the best
Mark price is underated he also gave me fits along with Barkley

So tell me what teams and players in different eras going at your head[emoji848]

been playing as the Mavs in a Jordan Era save, burned it to the ground for rebuild, built a foundation, became a playoff team around 1997 and then didn't get out of the first round for 7 straight years because of playing the Kings or Spurs in 6 of them.

And dangerous if your not focus

Right now I'm playing with MJWizards custom roster in the Jordan Era
The 92 Bulls have killed me everytime I play them. With some minor tweaks to his roster Jordan and Pippen are destroying every team I put against them.

I started in the Magic Bird era and Olajuwon got drafted to the blazers. With him and Clyde they won 3 titles. Olajuwon has been a beast. My sonics with D. Robinson, Malone and Joe Dumars lost to them 5 years in a row until they got over the hump.

The '97 Heat are far too ridiculously OP, from Mourning, all the way down to PJ Brown, Ike Austin, Keith Askin & Willie Anderson[emoji19] Unstoppable offensive rebounding, to sharpshooting beyond the arc. I essentially play-test against them when testing out sliders.

The '97 Heat are far too ridiculously OP, from Mourning, all the way down to PJ Brown, Ike Austin, Keith Askin & Willie Anderson[emoji19] Unstoppable offensive rebounding, to sharpshooting beyond the arc. I essentially play-test against them when testing out sliders.

97 & 98 Heat were a ridiculously good and now underrated team. I watched the early season 97 game between bulls and heat and it was great. Heat defense was insane, the way they were implemented the patented Pat Riley “contest every shot like your life depends on it” theory. Rotations were sharp etc. And the team got even better in the 98 season. Jordan was on fire in the game I watched and Majerle and Tim were uncharacteristically ice cold, but you could see how dangerous and deep that team was, especially when the shots were going in. Alonzo is a super underrated big man. He was cooking, physical beast.

The other day, Tim Duncan had a 42-12-6 game against me on 20-23 shooting. One of the craziest games I've ever been involved in. 5 minute quarters, but it had four overtime periods. I won 101-100.

I will admit to having short term, selective memory on that Heat team --- I pretty much only remember the Bulls nearly sweeping them in the conference finals (if not for an extremely dirty play by Alonzo Mourning that left a golf ball sized knot on Scottie's head). I do know they had a pretty stacked roster and were extremely well built. (And ironically, the 2k roster doesn't even include Vashon Leonard.) It's pretty amazing/disappointing they never once advanced past the conference finals.

I just lost to the Warriors as the 91 bulls and Tim Hardaway went off for 55 points on high 60% shooting DONT remember exact number.

Only played in the 90s so far but weirdly enough the Bulls were never a real problem for me. MJ scored like crazy, but I never had a real problem stopping his supporting cast.

My biggest problems were the Jazz with the Malone/Stockton combo and the Knicks. Ewing especially was a beast inside and so frustrating to play against with his rebounding and defense inside.

Right now I am still waiting for a Kobe era roster and thinking about starting a save in the 80s. Maybe I can add Bird to that list as well then.
