I'd say definitely Purdy.He should be rated 78-80 to start next year with potential to rise fast which should be Jimmy G level and higher than Trey Lance.

I'd start Lance though. Purdy is under control for 3 more years as a backup. Lance has way more upside.

Trey Lance. They gave up a bunch of draft capital to get him so I doubt they move on without seeing what he is capable of. He has the bigger arm, more mobility and bigger frame like most coaches want these days as well. I wouldn't be shocked if Purdy was the starter half way thru the season though if Lance struggles.

I'd say look at it this way,none of the qbs that are rated 70 either as a rookie or after playing poorly in their rookie season has put up a stretch even remotely close to that so I don't think upper 70s is going too far.You can drop him lower when he finally starts playing worse.He actually has been playing like an upper 80s but certainly wouldn't go even close to that.

Brady should have taken several years to hit 80 because he was drafted in the 6th round?

When they refuse to drop Dak out of the upper 80s...
