Trying to edit players in franchise mode and the player never shows up it just loading and never shows up is this a glitch

Means no one can create CaP's, changing equipment, beards on existing players cause not visible. Usual work of this team. Bugs getting more and more.

they said they are working on it and investigating it currently, there was a giant uproar at EA Sports forums, cause of created player zone wasn't showing up, let's hope they are working on it, cause I am not currently playing NHL 23 until this giant bug is fixed, apparently, it's happening on all consoles too (PS5, PS4, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S), hopefully, we'll know soon and this week too.

Apparently we gotta wait till march for a fix for the edit player bug typical EA
