Disable xfactor and superstar abilities ?

If I disable these abilities how does the game play ? I would expect players to just play to their actual ratings.

What are the advantages of keeping these in or turning them off ?

I find the game plays better and less arcade like with them off. They still matter because development is attached to them but the game plays smoother to me with them off.

Also how do you actually turn off xfactor abilities ? I see how to turn off superstar abilities in the league setup but not xfactor. Also can it also be turned off for play now games anywhere ?

Someone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, but X-Factor is part of superstar abilities. They're superstars, just better, lol.

They are the same. It turns off all in game abilities.

Ok thanks. Is there a way to turn off the arcade graphics that go with them ?

Which ones? If you turn off abilities you’ll no longer see the star or X under the players.

Personally, I feel like the game plays MUCH better without them if you are trying for a more realistic approach. Someone had mentioned the X-Factor as being “arcade-like,” and I would completely agree.
