Yeah, it looks like 'real arena lighting' but I want to see it in a video. These companies (all of them) like to doctor and manipulate images way too much.

I also wish they'd start dropping images for people we haven't seen countless times before. [emoji38]

Show us that either Anthony Edwards or Russell Westbrook have (finally) been improved or someone from that rookie class (after actually being face scanned).

I can also tell that the body types still haven't improved, so get ready for another year of endless complaints about that. [emoji849]

These screenshots typically don’t interest me but the lighting on this looks noticeably different…interested to see how the game ends up looking overall

Yeah same fear over here.

Simply can't see 10 players, refs, bench, coaches, crowd, arena all at the standard visually. Would LOVE to be wrong.....

No choice but to wait til we can see it I guess.

Til then, happy for 2K to send us more of these. I can see myself enjoying them til we can see a trailer or gameplay etc..

Gotta admit, I like looking at this pic of Booker.

It’s the weird body types they refuse to update. As the face scanning tech gets better the outdated/out of scale body types stand out more and more

Immediate impression was wow. Then I thought to myself, maybe they’re just being manipulative with the angles and timing (I mean the Kobe shots look vastly different) So I turned on ‘23 and tried to replicate this exact image. Tried to get a shot right after calling timeout when the arenas dim and turn blueish/purple. No success whatsoever. Must be new lighting of some sort.

In motion and in-game I don't mind the subpar body types so much. Still I do wish they would make a much needed update with player body types.

I keep thinking they'll wait until further into "new gen's" console cycle, but we are nearly 5 years in with no major overhaul(s) in sight.

I was thinking the same thing. The replay mode in 2k23 had some kind of filter that altered the lighting that gave the game a slightly different look. I figured that's what was happening here, which is still possible, but sounds like, at the least, it's not the same as 2k23.

You’re right, guess we’ll just have to wait and see…really hoping they implement arena specific lighting. Barclays and Crypto are so hard to play in with the bright crowds

Why they haven't added "theater lighting" to those two arenas is beyond me.

Still, that is another issue entirely.

2k23 looks less plastic like, there's nothing really to improve here to me. Face scans has allowed for amazing likeliness anyway, so not impressed sorry.
