The first thing I do when I get to the main menu is go to the soundtrack and turn every song off. I will leave the Madden instrumental music on.

I really want them to bring back NFL Films music!

In truth, I generally play music with the sound off due to me not liking the music, not enjoying the commentary, and the sounds on the field being too quiet even at max volume.

I've given up hoping for a diverse track list from madden. I always expect to be disappointed now.

Andy Mineo and Lecrae are really cool additions. It's all getting muted the second I hop into EA Play though.


We say it every year here, but I wish we had more NFL Films songs. Playing it through spotify just isn't the same unless you're always in the menus.

You never hear of these artists or these songs , but after a few months of playing madden your humming the lyrics around your house or work and your kids and younger co workers think your hip😜

Over the past 20+ years, EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL has been proud to play a major role in celebrating the culture of Hip-Hop.

So they are just going to rewrite the history of the music in their own game series now?

Madden soundtracks have only been dominated by hip-hop since Madden 18. Every earlier Madden game either used orchestral music representative of NFL Films or demonstrated a basic awareness of the guitar as an instrument. Like... Good Charlotte went viral in late 2021 / early 2022 after John Madden passed away because so many connect their hit "The Anthem" with playing Madden 2003.

I enjoy hip-hop just fine, but it'd sure be nice if the soundtrack wasn't only hip-hop. Rock music remains ever-present in NFL stadium experiences and television broadcasts, it certainly belongs in the NFL's video game.
