Real 2K Rosters is now in it's 21st season of editing 2K rosters. The goal of every season is to provide daily updates that reflect the current state of the NBA as accurately as possible. The "Living Roster", if you will.

I spend about 1,000 hours every year working on the file as a labor of love. You do not need to re-sub monthly to continue to access the file - I grant season-long access to the document. Last year I soft-launched this content via Paypal & DM (intentionally limiting access). I'm ready to actually go public this year. Any support is deeply appreciated. It takes a lot of time and sacrifice to continue releasing content on an annual basis.

I enjoy making team/player focused content every now and then to explain what I'm doing in my roster. I try to treat it like a 30-60 minute podcast episode with a visual aid. My activity level has been a bit sporadic over the last two years due to limited availability. A recent change in employment should rectify that. My days of 10-12 hour shifts or 60-hour work weeks are in the rearview mirror (for the moment anyway).

Didn't realize when making forum topic but rosters are CROSS-PLATFORM this year.
PLAYER RATINGS
All ratings are reviewed and updated throughout the season, sticking as closely as possible to 2K's attribute scales. These are my long-standing expertise & what my content has been known for over the past two decades.
BADGES
All player badges are reviewed and updated using NBA data, sticking with 2K's scales. This is the other area I'm more in-depth on than anyone else in the game, 2K Sports included.
VITAL INFORMATION
-Positions are the most accurate in the 2K Community and updated regularly.
-Height, Weights, Jersey Numbers are kept updated in line w/ the NBA's official data.
-Injuries will be managed as necessary (for minor injuries, I won't sideline a player unless they miss a week).
-Contracts are as up to date as possible using data from Spotrac.
-Force Non-Starter is applied liberally to ensure accurate team rotations.
TENDENCIES
-Done as necessary, focusing on players with significant role changes (think Lauri Markkanen going from CLE to UTA). I collect more data on Tendencies within my Spreadsheet (shot data) than what I actually have time to implement.
MY STAFF
Work in progress. The odds of content release improve if 2K develops a better editing interface.
TEAM PLAYBOOKS
These are not a focus. I prefer to leave those to the experts.
PLAY TYPES
Synergy Data is in my spreadsheet, it's just a matter of cycling through 500 players.
CLASSIC & ALL-TIME TEAMS
At present I will not be focusing on any of these without a monetary donation. I actually love working on these things it's just a question of time.
MY ERAS CONTENT
-Major Work in Progress. I would probably need to hire someone in order to tackle this effectively.
-I think waiting a year is beneficial in that 2K is adding a few missing players. They are also adding/removing a ton of badges this year. Staying up to date with 500 players on those is hard enough, much less 2,000.
MODERN ERA UPDATE HISTORY
9/8/23: Release day. Adjusted a few positions but primarily crunched some of the new badges.
9/12/23: Positions updated league-wide. Spreadsheet updated w/ 9/8 OVRs and Archetypes. Spreadsheet Contract information finished.
10/13/23: Lots of updates (I keep a more active log within the spreadsheet). I have about 40 of the top 50 players fully edited.
